First painting I started on after having my exhibition a few months back, and I am quite satisfied with it. The texture and feel of the dust and the gravel pleases me the most, because it was new to me.

So i didn't make it into konstfack. I am fine with that. I'll find something else more suitable to what i actually do, which is painting/illustration, and not so much taping myself sitting in a bathtub eating bacon while wearing a furcoat. Art today is anything BUT a painting, so i guess i don't make art then.

Starman 2011

So, here it is due to popular demand, a remake of my 1987 design of Starman. The result turned out quite well I think, but I think that's mostly thanks to the 8-year old version of me. He did all the real design job, as inhibited in it's creativity as only a child can be. I'd love to find more old drawings like this that I could remake.

When visiting my dad, this past weekend, i found this gem. An excellent illustration of a character that i named Starman. There is no date written on it, but my guess is that i was about 8-10 years old when i drew it.
