A four-legged mustache

What's the point? Maybe if u were an environmentalist, u could use this one as a recyclable toiletpaper.

My new friend

This little fella lives in the flat above my studio. Sometimes he comes by for a visit, and today he sat with me in the sun.

Taking a break

Started with colours on "go fetch". I am missing out on a beautiful day, but it's all part of being a gloomy painter. I'll enjoy the sunshine when i am old.

Halfway there

Shroom of Doom

I made this one thinking that it was about time to expose Nintendo and their #1 mascot. They have been targeting kids for three decades now with their psycadelica-propaganda. Going down the pipe? Flying through the galaxy? Eating magical mushrooms and getting extraordinary powers? Spitting fire? The list goes on and on... I mean, isn't Bowser some sort of a dragon? And what does Mario do most of the time? Yeah, that's right, HE IS CHASING THE DRAGON(also a well known expression for shooting heroin)!!!

P.S. Also note that I also made the musical masterpiece that goes along with the video(and I am not even a musician, so TAKE THAT!)

Portraits process#1

Just finished the basic lines and shading. Next step is to coat it with a dark and transparent layer and then work the volume with white.

This week's portraits

I have 2 child/babyportraits to do this weekend. I was supposed to do these
long ago for each kid's baptism as gifts, so there is no money in it.
I'll just do them in black and white. Look back here later in the
weekend.

When I was a child...

... games looked like this.

This particular game, in the picture above, was a favorite on the C64. There was never any proper backstory in games at the time, and even if there was I am sure that an 8 year old swedish boy´s english wasn't sufficient to understand it. Instead we would interpret and make up our own story. In this game we believed that you were an angry wrestler prowling the streets to let off some steam, and everything from gorillas to blind men with canes would attack you. One of the more cooler features were the specialmoves you had for different levels. These moves were brutal and really fun, and were enough for us to play the game over and over again.
Good times... :)

Shy and naked

Oil on canvas

Glownose

Oil on canvas. This one went through several incarnations before ending up like this. This might not be the best version, but I am sure I can abandon it now.

Here comes the weekend

This week I have managed to have the first sparringsession(kick/thaiboxning) in three years(got a bump on my forhead from an elbow), completed a painting by commission in 2 days, worked 2 nightshifts and completed a few digital pieces of art. Too many demanding passions, too little time.

Next week I will go on vacation, during which I´ll try to paint ALOT and also enjoy the summery sweetness that we all have been deserving after this hellish winter and darkness.

Do as my dad, and party throughout the weekend.
